About Arte
Belgian Wallcovering Design Since 1981
Arte grew from the Desart family's wallpaper business and was established as the Arte company in 1981. Today the business is led by the third generation and remains focused on wallcoverings, with design, materials and surface effects at the heart of the collection.
Every Arte product is designed in-house. Its design studio develops around 50 new designs each year, exploring new materials, production methods, colour and texture before a collection reaches the wall.
Materials, design & craftsmanship
Wallcoverings Beyond Ordinary Wallpaper
Part of Arte's appeal is the breadth of materials and techniques used across its collections. Alongside non-woven and vinyl wallcoverings, designs can incorporate natural fibres, textiles, leather, wood veneer, metallic foil and other tactile surfaces.
This variety means colour and pattern are only part of the decision. Texture, sheen, relief, scale and the way a material responds to light can all influence the finished room. We hold selected Arte collections in-house and can help with samples, locating particular designs and colourways, and checking quantities for a project. TM Interiors is an approved Arte Brand Ambassador, although our focus is simply on helping you find and order the right wallcovering.

Finishing the Arte Project
Different wallcoverings can call for different installation methods and adhesives. Arte's own Technics range includes Clearpro and Clearpro Extreme adhesives as well as Profilo corner guards, and we can help source or advise on selected accessories where required.
If you need help with installation, we also have a trusted network of experienced decorators and may be able to assist depending on your location, the wallcovering, project size and availability. Contact us with details of the project and we can discuss what may be possible.
