The method
How the estimate is worked out
Every estimate follows these steps, in this order.
1. Widths
The blind width plus the side allowance is divided by the fabric width and rounded up to whole widths. A blind wider than the fabric is made from joined widths.
2. Cut length
The blind length plus the top and bottom allowance gives the cut length, rounded up to whole pattern repeats.
3. Blinds
Multiply the number of fabric widths by the cut length, then by the number of identical blinds. Any selected extra pattern repeat is added once for that fabric.
4. Rounding
The total is rounded up to the fabric's minimum order and selling increment.

On the fabric's product page. Search for the fabric in the calculator and its width, pattern repeat, minimum order and selling increment are filled in for you.
Can I work out several blinds at once?
