"I think Pierre Frey is quintessentially French because it’s all designed and mostly manufactured in France, but also because we have an eye for colours and quality... the light that we get in France, the history that we get from Paris and the culture of our country gives us a taste that is very French"

Pierre Frey Brand History
Founded in Paris in 1935 by Pierre Frey, the company still remains a family run business and is run by the founder's son Patrick Frey with his three sons Pierre, Vincent and Matthieu, with a passion for design and a quest for excellence. Patrick Frey added Braquenié to the Pierre Frey House in 1991, protecting the company from foreclosure and protecting its heritage in part due to his father's deep admiration of Braquenié fabrics. The luxury Italian fabric houses Boussac and Fadini-Borghi became part of the Pierre Frey stable in 2004, and the historic French brand Le Manach followed in 2013. The Pierre Frey collection is a vast library of textiles, drawings and designs, which is historically important but also provides great inspiration for the Maison Pierre Frey.
