Cole & Son Brand History
The quintessentially English brand, Cole and Son, was founded in 1875 by John Perry, the son of a merchant from Cambridgeshire, and has long been recongnised for the exceptional quality of its luxury wallpapers. Cole & Son hold a Royal Warrant to Her Majesty the Queen and their wallpapers can be found in many castles and historic houses in England including Buckingham Palace and the United Kingdom Houses of Parliament. They hold one of the most significant collections of wooden printing blocks in Britain and draw on their vast archive as well as partnering with fashion designers, artists, brands and other creative collections which ensures they have a mix of both the contemporary and traditional in their collections.
