Morris & Co. Queen Square Wallpaper Collection has been a seamless meeting of minds between an iconic brand and one of the country’s most sought after interior designers and this launch is its latest collection, produced in collaboration with Ben Pentreath. The Queen Square Collection is named after the road that housed the first Morris & Co. factory and showroom. Featuring original designs across 18 wallpapers, Queen Square fills us with a nostalgic familiarity, and the Queen Square collection was styled exclusively by Ben at his stunning Dorset home, with photography featuring in the collection’s pattern books. Designs like Bird & Anemone have been reworked transforming it into a vibrant, strong Olive/Turquoise colourway, it displays an evocation of the English hedgerow dating from 1882, this wallpaper features thrushes in a vertical entwine of flowers and foliage. Sunflower is also reimagined and recoloured so go boldly with our statement Red or choose Chocolate for a Queen Square interpretation of something a little more minimal, this striking pattern was originally designed by William Morris in 1879. Poppy is a beautiful wallpaper that was created using original blocks, rising to become one of William Morris most popular designs, it was first printed in 1881, Poppy has now been recoloured in a rich, majestic Claret and a lighter, more delicate Chocolate. Morris is celebrated and loved through generations and this partnership and new collection ensures his designs will be continually used for years to come in a multitude of interior installations.
