Zoffany introduces the Cotswold Manor collection, new for SS22, artfully embodying the essence of the English countryside. An eclectic blend of documents, from understated to extravagant, inspires this collection, which showcases an extensive historical range and an array of splendid designs. With ten wallcoverings, eight prints, two embroideries, and two weaves, the Cotswold Manor represents a world of understated glamour, serene getaways, and a gentler rhythm of life. Peter Gomez, Zoffany's Head of Design, highlights the elegant countryside aesthetic and the reinvention of iconic patterns from the archive, breathing new life into designs that ensure their continued appeal for future generations. Symbolising Zoffany's rich heritage, the collection boasts a luxurious range of qualities, complete with exquisite finishing touches like hand-embellished embroidery and superior wallpaper substrates. Designs like Storks & Thrushes, reintroduced for the first time since its debut, and Chintz Lustre, one of Zoffany's inaugural designs, have been thoughtfully updated to strike a balance between traditional and modern printing techniques. Launching concurrently with the Cotswold Manor is the Zoffany Domino Weaves, featuring four spectacular jacquards inspired by original 18th-century domino prints from the Zoffany archive. These updated, smart, and incredibly versatile geometric designs provide an excellent coordinating element and an engaging addition to any room.
