Matthew Williamson Deya Wallpapers collection for Osborne & Little is named after the village in the hills of the Balearic island of Mallorca near where the international designer has a home and spends several months of the year. Butterflies float into clear blue Mediterranean sky from a grassy wildflower meadow, in the Deya Meadow wallpaper, and this wall covering has been designed as three separate panels. Named after La Almudaina, the royal palace in Palma de Mallorca Almudaina features a large-scale painterly scrolling trellis decorated with watercolour flowers. The Valldemossa design really comes to life with an all-over stylised composition of colourful flowers and contrasting striped leaves and takes its name after one of the most beautiful villages on the island of Mallorca. If you want to play it cool, then Adornado could be for you where shimmering jewel-like feathers float on a contrasting ground. An array of designs with a colour palette that features the distinctive colourways for which Matthew has become known including turquoise, cerise, coral, peacock, jade and mint as well as calm neutrals such as ivory, silver and smoke. The surroundings of Mallorca have inspired these Matthew Williamson wallpapers which are decidedly Mediterranean in mood and colouring.
