Mark Alexander Grasscloth Wallcoverings
Mark Alexander’s Grasscloth range is a symphony of tactile materials and contemporary designs. Starting with Abacca, where silky strands from the Philippine-native banana palm are handwoven, exuding a refined sheen. The Raffia wallcovering then introduces a rich organic texture, enhanced by handwoven, colour-washed tones. Also, Sisal boasts a luminous texture, achieved by hand-weaving and dying in a natural palette. Seagrass combines twists of seagrass which provide a natural-coloured accent to hand-woven sisal in this elegantly textured wallcovering. This Grasscloth Wallcovering collection showcases the beauty of dried grasses and plant fibres, emphasizing sustainability and renewable sources. This collection truly epitomizes the harmony of nature and art.
