Casamance Mimbeau Wallpapers
Mimbeau draws on the shifting, luminous atmosphere of Cap Ferret, where sea and sandbank form protective curves and villas sit quietly among maritime pines. Linen is central to the collection, used as a sophisticated foundation for rich processes that showcase Casamance craftsmanship, from jacquard techniques to wood and velvet appliques and tie-dye effects that feel both natural and meticulously made. The overall impression is discreet luxury, calm but deeply detailed, with textures that reward closer viewing and surfaces that sit beautifully in rooms shaped by light. Ares translates salt-marsh geometry into a wide-width linen and cotton design that is entirely re-embroidered, using exclusive embroidered velvet applique techniques for a refined all-over pattern. More painterly and unique, Arguin uses an innovative tie-dye process on linen pieces that are assembled by hand, so subtle variations make each wall covering feel one of a kind. At the collections heart, Mimbeau itself combines laser-cut wood applique applied by hand and then embroidered with satin threads, delivering crafted detail with a serene coastal sensibility suited to luxury wallpaper and designer wallpapers.
