Arte Les Tapisseries Wallpapers
Les Tapisseries is an ode to the grandeur of historic wall hangings, inspired by the magnificent tapestries that adorned castles and manor houses from the fourteenth to the eighteenth century. These hand-woven artworks once brought warmth and colour to vast interiors, depicting mythical stories and refined daily life, while serving as captivating conversation pieces for guests. As an extension of Artes Decors and Panoramiques collection, Les Tapisseries reimagines this heritage through a contemporary lens, presenting immersive decors and panoramas with the visual richness of traditional weaving. A graceful decorative highlight, Bouquet takes inspiration from a historic tapestry in the Rijksmuseum, brought to life on a lightly textured textile with an airy open weave that lends a calm, natural presence. For opulence and detail, Brocade revives an early twentieth-century motif on luxurious jacquard fabric, preserving the elegance and grandeur of the original textile. Completing the story, Bucolique presents a seventeenth-century-inspired panorama with two elegant swans at its centre, rendered on richly textured textile for authentic tapestry depth. The collection brings a timeless decorative tradition back to the wall, with texture and storytelling woven into every scene.
