Arte Babylon Wallpaper
The Arte Babylon Wallpaper collection is an evocative tribute to the enigmatic grandeur of ancient Babylon, the world’s inaugural metropolis and a beacon of early civilization. Each pattern in this collection draws from the rich tapestry of Mesopotamia's history, where the ingenuity of mankind first flourished in arts like writing, agriculture, and the sciences. Terracotta is a symphony of light and shadow, a geometric marvel that echoes the structured grace of Babylonian tilework, while its textured reliefs recall the undulating dunes of the desert. Adobe explores the aesthetics of relief, with a playful array of irregular squares and triangles that mimic the sun-hardened clay tablets of antiquity. Medjoul celebrates the natural bounty of the Middle East with a design redolent of the date palm, a staple of the region, lending a tactile depth to the collection. Between Rivers is an imaginative depiction of the fertile crescent between the Tigris and Euphrates, alive with elephants, gazelles, and lush palms amidst temple ruins—an original masterpiece by Frédérique et Rob Whittle—and Max. Arte's Babylon Wallpaper collection is not just a set of designs, but a chronicle of humanity's first forays into the union of beauty and utility, each roll a testament to timeless ingenuity, inviting you to create a space that is both historic and strikingly modern.
