Villa Nova Rugs
Unveiling Villa Nova Rugs, a captivating collection born from a collaborative endeavor with the distinguished weavers of Louis de Poortere in Autumn Winter 2017. The Villa Nova design maestros have masterfully transformed a curated set of their popular designs, reminiscent of their recent Norrland and Hana fabric ranges, into intricate flatweave and plush hand-tufted rugs. The collection, a harmonious blend of Oriental and Nordic inspirations, is characterized by a soothing blue/green palette. Notable designs include the flatweave Akina rug, flaunting a large-scale floral pattern with batik-style color wash, and the Hanna Rug, a hand-tufted marvel showcasing cascading wisteria amidst blossoming flowers. The collection also introduces geometric masterpieces like the Sudare Rug, echoing Japanese lattice artistry, and the folk-inspired Marit Rug with its contemporary flair. For aficionados of minimalist design, the Marka offers a vintage feel. With nine designs in total, those familiar with Villa Nova's fabrics and wallpapers will undoubtedly find an impeccable floor complement.
