Luxury silk-weavers, Tassinari & Chatel, have been producing  fine fabrics for over three centuries. Based in Lyon, France, they are one of the last surviving ateliers employing traditional silk-weavers at which groups together a collection of traditional hand looms, and at the same time has developed the latest generation of machine looms. This subtle juxtaposition of ancient and modern, of discipline and boldness, of respect for the past and innovation for the present and future, is what assures the continuing reputation of Tassinari and Chatel. One of Tassinari & Chatel's signature prints is Les Ananas (1501) which reproduces a traditional pattern first created by order of King Louis XIV, which has become a classic in the history of French home decor. The 2021 collection from Tassinari & Chatel, Patrimoine, saw the sophisticated and regal Les Ananas released in two new colourways.
