Nina Campbell Les Reves Fabrics
Nina Campbell Les Rêves Fabrics inspired by the works of the French painter Matisse feature some interesting designs that can enliven any home interior scheme. Take her Belle Ile Fabric design which takes its name from the island off the coast of Brittany visited by Matisse the artist, a nice mid-scale stripe composed of diamonds depicted in a combination of embroidery and hand block printed linen. Take time to browse the Camille fabric pattern where a watercolour printed sprig is set in a small-scale embroidered linen trellis and the name of the design taken from Matisse's early love interest. Or consider the Beau Rivage Fabric which has a painterly spot and wavy line and takes the name from a Hotel in Nice where the artist used to stay. Signature colours in the palette, and used on these designs, include coral, duck egg, indigo, bitter chocolate and orange. The wallpapers in the companion collection, also entitled Les Rêves (Dreams), provide perfect complementary designs for your home interior.
