GP&J Baker Historic Royal Palaces Fabric collection draws inspiration from their amazing stories and has resulted in a collection of wonderful designs relevant for home interiors of today. Iconic buildings including the Tower of London, Hampton Court Palace, Banqueting House, Kensington Palace and Kew Palace that span thousands of years. GP and J Baker have interpreted these historic landmarks and taken elements of spectacular gardens, architecture and interiors and developed some magnificent decorative prints and embroideries, shimmering silks, supple velvets and a range of stunning weaves. Royal Garden Velvet is an all over floral printed on luxurious velvet inspired by a 18th Century Courtier's Coat, which sits alongside the Queens Garden Velvet. The Royal Weaves feature a number of tactile and relaxed designs in a subtle colour palette like Chimney or Lancaster Weave. Royal Beasts is a charming design featuring exotic animals over the outline of the Tower of London, and Palace Maps is a detailed montage of antique plans and maps. Royal Damask Velvet, is a printed velvet, taken from an old silk damask design and available in two colourways. Kings Velvet and Queen's Silk are two plains designed to coordinate with the designs.
