Songe d'ete Etamine Fabrics
Songe d'ete is Etamine's tender homage to the timeless French stripe, where parasols, kites, sails and sun-warmed afternoons become a soft, sunlit narrative of summer. The collection feels like a memory unfolding across whitewashed walls and raw stone floors, with light catching the textures and shadows drifting gently at the touch of a breeze. Natural materials and a rich, nuanced palette give these fabrics a relaxed elegance, balancing freshness with quiet sophistication. There is a sense of Provencal ease in every weave and embroidery, where stripes and prints move between nostalgia and modern refinement without ever feeling sentimental. The gauzy character of Fil du Temps introduces a layered, crochet-inspired transparency that recalls the effortless chic of mid-century beachwear, bringing both lightness and technical performance to indoor and outdoor settings. In contrast, Jardin Suspendu unfolds like a panoramic reverie, its cascading wisteria embroidery drifting across a wide linen voile with exceptional delicacy and a gently modern hand. Grounding the collection, Menthe a l'Eau offers a beautifully nuanced upholstery cloth, where jute and recycled cotton blend into a soft, cashmere-like touch with subtle colour interplay. Together, Songe d'ete captures the poetry of summer-light, texture and memory woven into fabrics that feel both natural and quietly luxurious.
