Camengo Brisbane Fabrics
Brisbane draws its inspiration from Australias vast horizons and the raw beauty of natural materials, translating sweeping landscapes into curtain, upholstery and voile fabrics with a distinctly crafted feel. Prints are given impressive dimension through meticulous embroidery, decorative yarns, appliqu cordage and velvet touches, all layered within a warm, earthy palette that echoes land, sky and sun-baked terrain beyond the Indian Ocean. The collections signature lies in its interplay of artistry and texture: motifs feel hand-worked rather than overly polished, designed to bring depth and personality to interiors while still remaining elegant and liveable. A defining piece, Brisbane begins as a hand-painted design and retains the original brushstrokes, then gains further relief through refined embroidered lines that amplify volume and create a sophisticated, contemporary finish on a fluid viscose and linen base. For a more organic, graphic note, Nunga features flowing lines and dotted forms inspired by the spirit of Aboriginal art, printed onto a viscose-linen ground for graceful drape and decorative versatility. Together, these fabrics capture Brisbanes modern yet timeless character, offering a tactile, landscape-led story that feels warm, layered and quietly transporting.
