The wallpaper from which this design is drawn, is most likely of British Edwardian origin, but stylistically is very representative of the era's passion for oriental design, which – in a time of pre-modern artistic sensibility - was seen to retain a close connection to nature, simplicity and harmony. The trailing blossom and repeating birds are elements commonly found in early, hand-painted chinoiserie, and the use of traditional surface printing retains a tactile quality that subtly offers more to the discerning eye than a conventionally mass-produced paper. It once adorned the walls of the Grey Room at Gunby Hall in Lincolnshire, a large country house built some 200 years earlier for the Member of Parliament William Massingberd, that was bequeathed to the National Trust in 1944. All Bespoke items carry a longer lead time and you will often be quoted a estimated delivery date prior to placing the order.
If there are any issues with not meeting the standard delivery time frame out of courtesy you will be contacted.

Returns
Fabric Returns Policy
Each fabric order is a bespoke order as the fabric has been specifically cut to your requirements and for this reason we cannot accept a cancellation/refund or direct exchange.
We can, however, ask the fabric companies to accept your order back into stock and negotiate a refund, however, this is subject to the fabric companies' agreement and the payment of their handling charges. Should you realise that you have ordered the wrong product, or decide that you have changed your mind and wish to return it, then please contact us, and we will liaise with the fabric company on your behalf to check whether they will accept the order back.
Fabric Companies do impose a restocking/handling fee, which is typically 30% of the order value, and this would be deducted from the refund given to you. This handling charge covers the fact that your length of fabric has been cut specifically for you, and another future customer is unlikely to require the same length and so the Fabric Company will make a partial loss on the returned goods.
Returns are not usually possible if the fabric length is less than 5 metres.
To be eligible for a return, your item must be unused and in the same condition that you received it. It must also be in the original packaging.
All costs relating to postage for returns are the buyer's responsibility and we would advise on the use of a professional courier.

Faulty Items
In the unlikely event the item is faulty a full replacement or refund can be offered up to 30 days for faulty/damaged goods at no extra cost, however we would appreciate it if you would notify us within a few days of receipt of any such instance. A replacement/refund will be resolved as swiftly as possible..
Samples
Is available for this product, however we do not hold stock of samples and rely on our suppliers having stock of the samples to supply to us. If you wish to receive a cutting of this product please use the order sample button and follow the check out procedure.
Fabric sample sizes can vary but are generally approx 10cms x 10cms square. Wallpaper samples can be anything from approx A6 to A4 size.
Sample cuttings are priced at ££0.75 VAT inc. per sample
Postage depends on how many samples are being ordered for example: CONTENT MISSING
Returnable samples are no longer available unless you are visiting our interiors showroom, and there would be a charge for this service.
Please allow approx 10-14 days for sample orders if ordering from multiple suppliers
