Osborne and Little Memphis By Margo Selby Fabrics
Osborne And Little Memphis fabrics by Margo Selby launched in SS2019 is a range of fabrics that follows the success of her Ragtime for Osborne & Little. This new collection which presents six designs a variety of woven fabric qualities including cut velvets and wool. Designs and patterns are inspired by the recording artists from Memphis And Motown, the homes of blues and soul in the 1950's and 1960's, so with names like Marvin, Smokey and Supreme stripes you understand the interplay on words. Jukebox is a versatile jacquard of small squares in harmonious but contrasting colours, and Motown could be the talk of the town with a geometric jacquard where contrasting colours dissect the circles, triangles and squares. The colour palette is not all about the blues though as it features Margo's distinctive use of vibrant fuchsia, cherry, teal, jade and citrus as well as quieter tones of sage, silver and grey for some distinctive colour combinations.
