A new collection, Arte Insolence wallcoverings go back to the ear of the twenties some would describe as roaring for it was the space in time that saw the rise of radio, cinema and jazz music. Eight Arte wallcovering designs encapsulate that period of time but in a new contemporary form, where the where the luxurious new palazzo style is an unstoppable trend. The designs of Shiver & Swing have the Jazz influences written all over them, both inspired by the flamboyant Charleston dresses! Fringes are literally everywhere again: in fashion, jewellery, handbags and in modern interiors. Make your choice of non-woven with a realistic textile effect (pattern Shiver) or authentic fil-à-fil with soft velvet touch (pattern Swing). Vanity design has a nod to the Art Deco period with a modern herringbone pattern inspired by the Gatsby style, with an opulent fine line in metallic gold that makes it so much more contemporary. Moxie explores this deco period but this time a design inspired by classic, wrought-iron collapsible lift doors which you can still see them occasionally in hotels in the heart of Paris. Nerve is a design that fits perfectly into the layering trend, and the pattern is simplistic, but you can get lost and look at it for ages. Terrazzo is back, and Blast is a cool interpretation of the classic terrazzo floors, which are undeniably making a comeback in the interiors design style of today. Grow with its striking and contemporary colour pattern can standout anywhere it is used, the pattern itself is faded, giving it a bleed effect. The design is based on an authentic drawing from the beginning of the 20th century, but in a very modern version with a soft velvet touch. Temper is introduced with the same fil-a-fil effect as Grow and is woven into the core of the product that results in a truly unique plain wallcovering. This technique makes the textile effect on the wall very realistic and provides you with more colour options to match.
