Osborne and Little Pembroke Fabrics A pair of dual purpose fabrics with exceptionally high Martindale abrasion (100,000) can be found in Osborne and Little Pembroke Fabrics which have been inspired by the Celtic weaving traditions of Wales. Henry Tudor, later King Henry VII of England, was born in Pembroke Castle in West Wales. Carnarvon is a semi-plain twill with a soft handle. Named after the ancient castle of Carnarvon (Welsh spelling Caernarfon) and the setting for the investiture of the Prince of Wales, and Bangnor a subtle herringbone tweed named after the oldest city in Wales. The colour palette offers a full range of versatile neutral tones such as ivory, sand, slate and grey as well as more vibrant scarlet, claret, azure, mustard and pistachio. Anglesey is a companion woven collection with a similar Celtic theme.
