What to Expect from Paris Deco Off 2022

 

After being postponed to March from its usual slot in the January Interior Design Calendar this year's even is almost upon us. It has been confirmed that Paris Déco Off will run from 23rd to 27th March 2022 and promises to be a fantastic event with showrooms across Paris open for business. This event promises to be its usual whose who of the interior design world with many of the brands we supply opening their doors and showcasing their new collections, alongside leading French interior brands Nobilis, Lelièvre, Elitis, Dedar and Pierre Frey, you can expect to see popular European brands such as Jab, Gaston y Daniela, Omexco, Kvadrat, as well as leading US interiors brands like Phillip Jeffries. Many of the leading British interiors brands also have Paris showrooms participating in Parsi Déco Off including James Hare, Designers Guild, Romo, Sanderson, Marvic and many more

 

Thanks in part to the short delay to this years event we have already had a chance to see some of the new Spring and Summer collections from your favourite brands, and Paris Déco Off have also released a teaser video. So in preparation for this year's event we take a look at some of the latest collections we are looking forward to seeing at Paris Déco Off 2022.

 

Eco Friendly Fabric & Wallpaper Collections

Environmentally friendly fabrics and sustainable fashion interiors was a growing trend across many of the interior design events last year and we are delighted it looks set to continue this year and is likely to be a central theme for much of Paris Déco Off 2022, two promising collections are Omexco's Joy Collection and Aldeco's Future Healing Collection. 

 

Omexco Joy Collection

Leading Belgium luxury wallpaper brand Omexco are a brand which always seeks to reduce its impact on the environment by using non-harmful bases, renewable materials, and opting for recycled fibres as much as possible. Continuing with this passion for the environment they have released their Joy collection, a colourful collection of wallpapers made from recycled fibres. This exciting and vibrant collection of papers  is full of bright colours and joyful designs, including bold geometrics, ombre panels, terazzo inspired patterns. This environmentally friendly range is designed to bring to joy to your home.

 

 

Aldeco: Future Healing Collection

Portugese interiors brand Aldeco have released a Future Healing collection,  driven by a dream for a better planet. This eco-friendly collection of outdoor fabrics have been awarded OEKO-TEX certification. The certification is awarded only to fabrics which are judged as not harmful to the environment or the skin. This collection of stylish outdoor fabrics are soft to the touch and are made from environmentally friendly materials including recycled plastic bottles rescued from our oceans and fabric production wastage, whilst also using new manufacturing techniques to reduce both water consumption and energy.

 

 

 Wallpaper Panels

The trend for wallpaper panels this season looks set to continue, the additional potential for artistic impression makes wallpaper murals and wide-width wallpapers a popular medium for wallpaper designers and in recent years we have seen this take on the qualities of an art form. Most leading wallpaper brands now include a number of murals amongst their collections and we expect to see some stunning examples at this year's Paris Déco Off.

 

Lizzo Wallpaper Panels Collection

Lizzo's wallpaper panel collection is a perfect example of wallpaper embracing murals as an art, the fantastic murals in this colelction are a fusion of the pictorial artwork of Elena Carozzi with the creative expertise of the luxury Spanis brand Lizzo. The collection includes the stunning Wild Garden wallpapers (shown below) as well as the almost impressionistic Vantaglio as well as many more wonderful designs, if you have a chance to visit Lizzo's showroom in Paris it is well worth seeing these papers up close so you can truly appreciate their scale and beauty.

 

 

Designers Guild Jardin Botanique Wallpaper Mural

 

British interiors brand Designers Guild have released a number of spectacular mural and scenic wallpapers in recent years, and their spring/summer 2022 collection included the fabulous Jardin Botanique mural wallpaper. The beautiful painterly roses and camelias are made all the more stunning by the dramatically large scale design in this visually stunning mural wallpaper. Available in two colourways, Birch and Peony, this is another wallpaper which needs to be seen before you can really appreciate its beauty.

 

Outdoor Fabrics

Paris Déco Off is traditionally an event for the launch of new Spring Summer collections, as we look forward to the warmer months and outdoor dining we expect to see lots of new outdoor fabric collections. Outdoor textiles have evolved rapidly in the last few years from a limited range of fabrics to an abundance of choice including a much wider range of materials, colours and styles. Outdoor fabrics can be used for everything from outdoor cushions, seating, and bean bags as well as table cloths and colourful sails and drapes for gazebos and pergolas. Exciting spring summer outdoor collections new for 2022 which we expect to be on show at Paris Déco Off include Camengo's Porquerolles and... 

 

Camengo Porquerolles Outdoor Fabric Collection

The 2022 outdoor collection from Camengo, part of the Casamance Group, offers new design possibilities. This innovative collection of fabrics includes the multi-coloured textured Port Pin fabric perfect for outdoor upholstery, the stylish geometric jacquard Embiez, and the watercolour coral design of Marin. The collection also includes a wonderful botanical print fabric which shares its name with the collection. All fabrics in the collection are designed for outdoor use and are resistant to both the weather and strong light.

 

Paris Déco Off Online Event

If you can't make it Paris Déco Off their online videos offer you a chance to experience it from it from the comfort of your home. Videos will be released throughout the event, but if you can't wait for that why not check out the video from the first day of last year's Paris Déco Off.
