Introducing New Paint Brands: Coat Paints & Morris & Co.
We are excited to add two new paint brands to our collection this spring, climate positive brand Coat Paints, and traditional interiors brand Morris & Co. The paint quality and commitment to producing eco-friendly paints is what attracted us to Coat Paints, they have a fantastic selection of on-trend colours which capture current interior design trends. Whilst the tradition and heritage of Morris & Co. is captured in their first ever paint collection, a range of colours intended to perfectly pair with their fantastic wallpaper and fabric collections.
Introducing Two New Paint Brands: Coat Paints and Morris & Co Paints
We are excited to announce we have added two new paint brands to our product portfolio, both of which offer something new to the interior design portfolio. Coat Paints are a relative newcomer to the interior design world, having launched in mid 2020 but what is driving the brand is their commitment to environmental principles, on-trend colours and a desire to simplify the world of paint.
Morris & Co. Paints
When you browse Morris & Co. paints online it may surprise you to learn this collection of paints, launched last month, is the first paint collection in the history of the 160 year old brand. Known for their iconic Art & Crafts style, Morris & Co wanted to create a distinctive colour palette of paints which remained true to the origins of the earlier William Morris designs in their fabric and wallpaper archives. The result is a collection of 40 hues which capture the essence of the Morris & Co brand.
The ability to pair Morris & Co Paint with Morris & Co Fabric and Morris & Co Wallpapers ensures the paint collection will be a success but it is reassuring to know the paints offer exceptional coverage and have minimal VOC levels, offering an eco-friendly paint option for every Morris & Co fan. You can follow the links below to shop the selection of Morris & Co paints from their first collection, or you can take a look at their brochure here.
COAT Paints
COAT Paints are also the first climate positive paint company in the world, on top of reducing their waste and emissions they offset their unavoidable emissions by contributing double to UN Gold Standard environmental offsetting projects.
Just one example of COAT Paints green credentials is their approach to paint samples, instead of offering tester pots as samples they offer peelable paint swatches. This environmentally solution seems obvious with hindsight, there is no mess, minimal waste and you can move the swatches around the wall and from room to room. In their own words,
"... stick swatches are 100% accurate, and go straight on the wall. No fuss. No mess. Move them about and see your colour in different lights. Thank us later..."
The environmental benefits of swatches is obvious, this massively reduces paint waste (think of all of those tester pots where the colour is not quite right), it reduces transport costs and pollution, and the swatches are even recyclable. But this is also a time-saving solution for everyone, as soon as the swatches arrive you get an immediate feel for the paint, there is no waiting around or delay waiting for the first coat to dry before re-coating. If you want to learn more about COAT Paints you can read their 2022 ethical statement here.
As you would expect from an ethical brand like COAT all of their paints are low VOC and deeply coloured and durable too. COAT Paints have just released their 2022 colours, another on-trend collection which captures the spirit of contemporary interior design.
