Established in 1982 Altfield have 40 years of experience providing luxury products for the interiors market, originally specialising in exquisite needle point cushions Altfield has grown from its modest beginnings distributing out of a small warehouse space in Westbury in Wiltshire, to become a global interiors brand in its own right with showrooms in London, Hong Kong and across Asia. From their London showroom in Chelsea Harbour they built a reputation for supplying exquisite fabrics as well as porcelain, lighting, Japanese Screens, Chinoiserie wallpaper panels, hand-carved gilded mirrors and Antique Chinese Furniture.

As well as producing beautiful fabrics and wallpapers under the Altfield they are also a distributor for other leading interiors brands, including James Malone, Pollack and Weitzner. Altfield Fabrics

One of Altfield's strongest fabric ranges is their luxury upholstery fabrics with choices including hard-wearing velvets, beutiful bouclés, textured linens, and stylish weaves. Their new collection  of Ophelia fabrics, shown below top, offers a choice of upholstery velvet fabrics in a range of uplifiting pastel colours, with an impressive 100,000 Martindale rub rating. Other collections offering a combination of beautiful colours and interesting textures for upholstery fabric include Damara and Grand Mohair. 

Altfield Wallpapers

Altfield specialise in luxury wallcoverings with textured and metallic finishes including the brushed metal of the Magnitude collection, the exceptional Mica wallcoverings, which produces a glamourous glitter wallpaper finish, and the luxurious Gilded Strie wallpaper made from silk on hand laid metal leaf, both shown below.  

Altfield Faux Leather

With a wide selection of high quality faux leather options available it is no surprise that Altfiled has built a reputation for producing beautiful faux-leather upholstery fabrics. In amongst the wide variety of colours and textures are fabulous metallic faux-leather fabrics, such as those found in the Saratoga Springs collection (below top image), as well as a number of collections which mimic textures and patterns found in nature including the stylish Crocodile faux-leather is available as an upholstery fabric and can be combined with a matching Crocodile wallpaper. Altfiled's Shagreen faux-leather, also shown below, is perfect for creating truly bespoke and original furniture pieces but is also complemented by their Shagreen wallpapers.
