A Look at the Colour I Fabric Collection from Harlequin
We take a look at Harlequin's Colour 1 collection of fabrics. The Colour 1 collection was released as one of three complimentary collections totalling an impressive 58 wallpapers and 78 fabrics. The fabrics are split between the Colour 1 collection and Empower Plains collection, whilst the sister collection of wallpapers can be found in the Colour collection. To make it easier for you to find complimentary patterns and fabrics across the collections they are split across four themes: Rewild, Renew, Retreat, and Reflect. Each of the themes feature complimentary colour palletes as well as picking up on a design inspiration, making them the perfect choice for your next interior design project.
Introducing the Colour I Fabric Collection from Harlequin
We take a look at Harlequin's Colour 1 collection of fabrics. The Colour 1 collection was released as one of three complimentary collections totalling an impressive 58 wallpapers and 78 fabrics. The fabrics are split between the Colour 1 collection and Empower Plains collection, whilst the sister collection of wallpapers can be found in the Colour collection. Rewild
The Rewild mini collection is full of bright vibrant colours in confident shades. Each of the designs is full of energy and combines a love of nature with an energy and zest for life. These fabrics arsure to brighten up any room. Dance of Adornment features brightly coloured birds of paradise with incredible plumages and tailfeathers can be found amongst exotic rainforest foliage. This fabulously energetic prinr is available in two equally stunning colourways: Wilderness, Nectar and Pomegranate and Pomegranate, Grounded and Incense. Papilio is a fantistic showcase of neatly arranged butteflies in beautiflly bold colours.
Renew
The Renew range of fabrics in the Colours I collection combine soft relaxing colours with subtly detailed design. Perfect for creating a calming, uplifting and regenerative space. Inspiration is taken from the sea bed to the tree top canopy. Acropora's oceanic design depicts an underwater world of coral reefs and swaying plants and is available in two colourways, a glorious technicolour or a classic blue interpretation. Nalina - is a vibrant energetic botanical design with exotic flowers combining a multitude of beautiful colours in the one dynamic design. Ardisia is a woven jacquard fabric with a beatifuly coloured silhouetted branches and berries.
Retreat
Create a tranquil retreat with the collection of Retreat fabrics. The colour palette is sophisticated with muted chalky colours, hints of metallics, botanical greens and Mediterranean pinks. The striking design of Matupi is named after Asias tropical grassloands. The design reveals layered grasses and exotic plants giving a textured look. The satin fabric is available in a black and white or a tan almost gold black and white colourway. The multicoloured embroidery design in the Gorgonian fabric gives it a tactile quality which is sure to catch the light. The design is inspired by coral reefs and rainforest plants on a linen fabric. The Montipora depicts gently swaying sea anemones shown against a dark base.
Reflect
The soft greys, smokey darks, coppers, and mustards combine to create a distinctly modern colour palette for the Reflect mini-collection. These designs are a mixture of abstract and geometric prints designs blending edgy angularity with transitional design. The simple geometric design of the Sumi fabric is taken from iconic Harlequin design which has been made available as a printed fabric for the first time. The abstract geometric print is available in two colourways: Linen/Copper and Oyster/Gold. Takara is an abstract design available in two cool colour combinations: Steel/Chalk and Indigo/Denim. The large-scale ink splashes were created using a shibori technique. Zeal is another abstract design in the Reflect mini-collection, the design is a deconstructed horizontal stripe in tonal colourways giving the impression of brushstrokes.
