Art Meets Wallpaper: Pierre Frey's Galerie 3 Collection
The previous 2 Galerie collections by Pierre Frey have delivered some striking and beautiful panoramic wallpapers and murals and their third collection is no different. The collection was put together after the Pierre Frey Studio met with a number of artists, some renowned, others unknown or even forgotten, but always talented. Each of the fantastic designs is a large scale reproduction and is deployed across several panels adding to the drama and inviting new discoveries in the work.
Yves klein ant 125 Wall Mural
As is suggested from the title this stunning mural is a reproduction of the work "Jonathan Swift", (ANT 125) by Yves Klein. The large scale of the panormaic wallpaper really brings the piece to life and caputures a sense of the drama and movement. The work was the result of a performance where the body of a model, coated with paint, was applied to the canvas, and is named after the poet and satirist and man of letters who, in his " Voyage à Laputa ", revealed astronomical discoveries that were not proven as scientific realities until long afterwards. For Yves Klein, art is a quest for reality and the work is the trace of the artist's communication with the world.
