The next generation of Louis De Poortere Fading World Rug collection has links with the disruptive events of the Sixties, when the upcoming generation upset the establishment. Which perhaps explains why their Generation Rug design displays bold streaks and the aggression of time on the colours and the classical design. The Babylon Rug pattern on the other hand, is a multi-layered composition of floral, arabic geometric and distressed elements, set in soft hues.
