To give a decidedly fresh modern look to the ancient craft of stitchery Mark Alexander Handcrafted Modern I Fabrics has a sturdy linen weave that forms the ground for meandering cotton chain-stitch designs in modernist patterns, and chunky bars of satin-stitch embroidery. Printed fabrics, in linear designs, are rendered in a painterly manner like Girard which is a view of cultivated fields from above, where the complex interconnection of Inca masonry, form the many visual comparisons for this printed linen.
