Introduction to Linwood Fabrics

Hampshire-based family business Linwood Fabrics have been designing and manufacturing fabulous fabrics and wallpapers for over 25 years. There distincitve colletions are full of original designs which hold to the tradition of quality and artistry which they are renowned for. Each design is carefully crafted, with collections taking 12 months to come together, and all designs drawn and painted by hand. Designs are inspired by textile archives, museums and the natural world, and the result is an eclectic mix of traditional British designs, sophisticated plains, and inspirational prints and weaves which pay homage to culture and design from across the world.

Founded in 1994, Linwood is a family business based in the South of England who strive for excellence in every stage of the design and production process. The family run business draws on the creative expertise of three generations to produce beautiful fabrics and wallpapers both classic and contemporary designs. The quality of the fabrics is ensured through involvement in the creative and production processes, wtih much of the manufacturing done by trusted mills in Britain and Europe and their in-house design studio. Their design ethos is to produce unique collections bursting with fresh ideas, while retaining the quality and artistry they are renowned for.
