Villa Nova Huari Fabrics

Villa Nova Huari Fabrics

The Huari collection embraces a blend of African, native Central and South American influences to embody a sense of global tribalism. The collection is awash with geometric shapes with hand painted and naive sensibilities, capturing a rustic luxury with a dose of free-spiritedness. From the simple trellis design of the Adire which has been designed originally created using hand painted irregular brush strokes, printed on a subtly textured, characterful cotton linen to the bold, sweeping brush strokes form abstract, naive shapes of their Huari Fabric these are striking prints. While Asante is a simple corded embroidery that creates an all over maze of linear shapes and Toubou is a statement weave with a pattern inspired by tribal basket work, interlocking shapes and pleasing geometry in bold colours bringing vibrant appeal to the design.
