The latest from Morris & Co, inspired by the featured designs and Nordic colours of Pure Morris North, Pure Morris Kindred is a striking collection of semi-plains and small-scale weaves made from luxurious, high quality fabrics. In the spirit and as natural and beautiful as the Icelandic landscape, Pure Morris Kindred comprises an incredibly special selection of textured fabrics, accented with subtle tones and delicate patterns. Take the Laxa fabric for example inspired by the Icelandic landscapes, Laxa, a river in Iceland, has been created using a space dyed weft to give the fabric natural movement, and interest. However, be sure to explore all the designs and fabric textures like Pure Fota which takes its geometric design from a fotaband in William Morris's own collection, and is available in four colourways. Or Hawkdale Weave which was inspired by Morris's stop at Iceland's Hawkdale Valley, home of hot springs and cobalt skies this fabric comes woven oven with a soft tactile chenille weft and again is available in four colourways. Helka is a fine herringbone weave with an ombré vertical stripe, available in two colourways, Cloud Grey and Linen. Each of the collection's ten weaves do have soft subtle colour options available and is as truthful to William Morris the adventurer as to a country that he felt so passionate about.
