Morris And Co Archive Weaves Fabric Collection
Morris and Co Archive Weave fabric collection has faithfully reproduced some of William Morris classic textiles that were jacquard and tapestry fabrics all woven on hand looms in his distinctive style. The collection also features new weave interpretations of the most loved Morris & Co. wallpaper designs, and these great fabrics are suitable for upholstery and curtains. Take for example Acanthus Tapestry Fabric now available as a robust tapestry weave in three stunning colourways and suitable for upholstery, which is also one of Morris most iconic patterns and has been reproduced in many forms before. Taken from the wallpaper design of 1871 Branch is now a dynamic and interesting woven in cut and loop pile velvet to create a contemporary weave which sits well in Arts and Crafts and modern homes alike. Talking of modern originally woven on power loom in wool and mohair this is now reproduced in wool, Crown Imperial, and drapes beautifully when used for curtains but yet is durable for upholstery. Fruit one of many classic Morris designs, has now been adapted into a tapestry weave for upholstery and soft furnishings. Garden Craft has been transformed into a classic cotton damask providing a sophisticated and versatile single colour weave compared to what it once was a block printed wallpaper designed by W.A.S. Benson. The infamous Peacock & Dragon fabric design is now available as a wool jacquard to bring upholstery to life, as is the timeless Willow Bough Fabric which is also now available as a fine jacquard weave in four colours to co-ordinate across the collections. Buy any fabric from the Morris & Co Archive Weave collection from TM Interiors Limited along with made to measure curtain and blind services available.
