Ian Mankin Ashfield Fabrics
Ian Mankin Ashfield fabric collection takes the brands ethos of using natural and organic fibres, and their first venture into fabrics made with wool. An unusual character of the collection is that all of the designs are reversible, so that either side of the fabric can be used to create a different effect. Ten designs make up the collections from plain textures to classic stripes, tight geometrics to original check fabric designs. A classic damask motif featuring British melange dyed Shetland wool in the form of Malham sits next to the assortment of designs. Plus a timeless paisley wool fabric design that goes by the name of Beverley gives this collection plenty of potential. Woven at the Ian Mankin mill in Lancashire, the collection as mentioned features an assortment of jacquard woven designs in melange dyed Shetland wools spun in Yorkshire, creating a softer hue which blends easily with the existing range. All the fabrics are suitable for upholstery, curtains, blinds and accessories and are naturally flame-retardant without the addition of any chemicals. Buy the full range of Ian Mankin fabrics online.
