With Opera, Evitavonni creates a contemporary collection of glamorous upholstery and drapery fabrics with an elegantly aged aesthetic inspired by the dramatic sensibility of the opera. Featuring softened motifs and textural jacquards the collection is created in evitavonni's signature palette of greys and taupes, extending into warmer golden tones. Opera features the majestic jacquard velvet Montserrat, and the utterly tactile Kid Mohair; versatile velvets with high martindale results and beautiful drape in natural fibres underscoring the collection. Romance, Mezzo, Soprano, Murano and Verona gently punctuate the collection with subtly decorative motifs. Harp and Score underpin the collection with upholstery that maintains the glamour and sheen of the Opera theme yet with high martindale results. Caruso and Callas are both airy multi-toned weaves, named after two of the most remarkable voices in Opera.
