Harlequin Anthology Wallpaper - 7 Of the Best

Harlequin Anthology Wallpaper - 7 Of the Best

The range of Anthology wallpapers were launched back in 2014 by Harlequin, and are essentially textured wallcoverings for home interiors and in particular the luxury wallpaper market. The popularity in the use of textured wallcoverings for home interiors has seen an increase in over recent years and as new technologies develop within wallpaper manufacturing, the Harlequin Anthology wallpaper ranges capture just that, along with other such trends, or fads, such as mixing metallic's etc. Here we present 7 of the best Harlequin Anthology wallpapers......

Anthology Seri Wallpaper

The Seri wallpaper is basically imitation grasscloth vinyl wallcovering, and honestly it is no substitute for the real thing, if you look at brands like Elitis with their Luxury Wallcovering collection, and such beautiful handcrafted products, made from Abaca Bark like Coron or Rajan.

Even the latest Brian Yates collection Rainbows Collection features handcrafted wallcoverings made from bark, and the difference visually is clear, but natural wallcoverings can be temperamental and more costly, so then with Seri Wallpaper at £105 per roll it could be seen as a decent substitute.

Anthology Coral Wallpaper

From the 01 collection a delicate beaded paper which we have seen more and more of lately, depicting a daintily intricate design inspired by marine forms and textures. If you are into beaded wallpapers, then be sure to check out some of the Romo wallpapers perhaps their Tilla Wallcovering from their latest Lomasi collection.

Anthology Shore Wallpaper

With night and day being a bit of theme this year in the world of interiors their Shore wallpaper seems to fit the bill, even though the shimmering beads have been used to create a motif on a background capturing the effect of dappled sunlight playing on water. It is a nice design, which they replicated onto a Harlequin Shore rug. If you like the design then why not also consider Romo wallpapers Merletto Wallcovering, which is a “intricate Moroccan inspired design in a muted palette of sophisticated tones” but looks quite similar to us in nature.

Anthology Foxy Wallpaper

With metallic’s being very popular for some time now in the Interiors world and the distressed look you could say in vogue, Foxy is a vintage design inspired by the foxing on an antique mirrored or metallic surface creating a softly distressed and aged effect. If you like this then head straight for Brian Yates Minerals collection for some alternatives, or even Romo’s Rivo wallcovering which is an exquisite beaded wallcovering that reflects light beautifully.

Anthology Ellipse Wallpaper

Strange one this really from the 03 collection and as they say “the most figurative motif in the book”. Another design though that is beaded for added texture, and there isn’t really an alternative we can think to pointing too, so with its circular Ellipse design you could say this is fairy unique.

Anthology Cobra Wallpaper

Urban, rough and slippery is how we would like to describe it, again the design is highlighted with beads to add sparkle over a distressed snakeskin design. As they say it is almost gives the illusion of a flock wallpaper with its semi 3D appearance, and reminds us of the super cool Romo Black Zelva Flock Wallcovering that is a flock wallcovering.

Anthology Odoko Wallpaper

Our favourite design from the Anthology 04 collection, resembling a digital photograph of crumpled silk against a dappled, pony skin-effect textured ground. It’s kind of like a re-hash of their Marble, Shellac or Kinetic designs from previous collections, but anyway an interesting textured wallpaper and reminds us of the latest Zoffany Akaishi wallpaper collection.

Of course these are not the only textured wallcoverings online, there is plenty of choice, if you like these then be sure to check out Romo Black Iroko Wallcoverings Vinyl Wall coverings. While not entirely similar still a collection of stunning, luxury vinyl wall coverings in an array of innovative designs all with a unique embossed finish that add depth and movement to the intricate designs.

Certainly on a similar page we would recommend Designers Guild Palasani wall coverings which have inspiring dynamic textural looks. Also one of their latest collections The Edit Plain & Textured Wallpaper Volume I. The collection in their words is “an anthology of plain and subtly textured designs for your walls.”

We have already mentioned Romo wallpapers Lomasi collection, and if you really have the time to do some digging then of course Arte Wallpapers and Elitis are all worthy of investigating, but be conscious of the price as many are sold by the meter.

We would always recommend buying the specialist paste produced by the manufacturers for these wall coverings and it goes without saying use a reputable professional decorator.

All of the ranges mentioned are available to buy online at TM Interiors Limited, please contact us for any further advice or assistance.
