Designers Guild is a firm favourite with TM Interiors clients and team members, so we have put together a short guide to the brand, it’s history and some of the fabulous current collections.

Beginning life as a small section of a single shop in Chelsea’s Kings Road in 1970, Designers Guild has evolved and grown into a global enterprise, helping to change the way in which people view colour, pattern and texture in their homes.

Founded by Tricia Guild OBE, the company is headed and owned by herself along with her brother Simon Jeffreys.

Throughout the brand’s 50 years Tricia Guild’s vision has been to create a ‘lifestyle’, and to show people how to put the different elements of a room together; how colour and pattern, texture and form come together to create a harmonious space that is full of personality and character.

Tricia continues to inspire through her talks, books and now online she not only discusses the new collections launched by Designers Guild, but also provides tips and tricks on how to create a moodboard, a must watch.
