Cole and Son Wallpaper Landscape Plains

Cole and Son Wallpaper Landscape Plains

Cole And Son Wallpaper Landscape Plains

It is often reported these days that creating a feature wall with wallpaper (while still entirely relevant) is becoming more of a thing of the past, as more and more people stretch their budget, and go for the all over wallpaper look choosing to paper all four walls. Whatever your preference the recently launched Cole and Son Landscape Plains collection aims to help bridge a certain gap. The gap that is, of those people out there who still want a feature wall using a striking or even subtle wallpaper design, yet would still rather use wallpaper, than paint on the rest of the walls. cole-and-son-wallpaper-landscape-plains Well Landscape Plains which contains five semi-plain designs in a host of colours with a mix of matte, pearl and metallic finishes, are aimed to both co-ordinate and compliment their impressive back catalogue of stylish wallpapers, but also work on their own independently. As mentioned the collection features five designs two of which Jasper Strie and Watered Silk have been around for a long time, and you'll know doubt have seen amongst other suppliers ranges such as Zoffany, or Thibaut wallpapers. Jasper Strie is of course incredibly versatile and will almost go with anything. It has two finishes available in the collection Mixing pearls with chalky mattes, and perhaps our favourite use of this is when it is paired with: [ezcol_1half]cole-and-son-contemporary-restyled-palm-jungle[/ezcol_1half] [ezcol_1half_end]Jaspe-Wallpaper-106-3034[/ezcol_1half_end] Watered Silk is more of a tough one to pair we feel, but perhaps you can get it to work in some spaces with their Florencecourt wallpaper which features dense foliage of the Florencecourt Yew Tree. [ezcol_1half]Watered-Silk-Wallpaper-106-1009[/ezcol_1half] [ezcol_1half_end]Florencecourt-100-1005[/ezcol_1half_end] Cordovan is a smart but understated paper designed to give some elegance to a space again either on its own: Cordovan-Wallpaper Or if partnered with that classic, and well known all over the TV design, Woods, and we mean the original Cole and Son Woods wallpaper. Not the Woods and Stars (ok), or the Woods & Pears (?), but the original design from their New Contemporary Two collection. [ezcol_1half]cole-and-son-woods-wallpaper-69-12147[/ezcol_1half] [ezcol_1half_end]cordovan-wallpaper-106-4052[/ezcol_1half_end] Their coral wallpaper is a reworking of an iconic block prints the Vermicelli. Offered in sixteen delicately balanced hues, which include Cole & Son’s time honoured duck egg, salmon and old olive, with a good selection of neutrals. Coral could work with a number of wallpapers but we particularly like it's pairing with the fish themed and quirky Acquario wallpaper featured in the Cole and Son Fornasetti II collection. Fornasetti-Wallpaper-Acquario   [ezcol_1half]coral-wallpaper-106-5064[/ezcol_1half] [ezcol_1half_end]pebble-wallpaper-106-2029[/ezcol_1half_end] Another potential complimentary wallpaper to the Fornasetti Acquario is the newly designed Pebble a small scale 'birds egg' speckle available in fifteen colour ways, and also seen above. We couldn't really find too much else to pair with this Pebble paper but then honestly we have not looked hard enough, and perhaps like Watered Silk and Cordovan its subtly as a backdrop, as shown here in some PR, works well. cole-and-son-pebble-wallpaper The wallpapers in the Landscape Plains collection are produced in the 52cms by 10m roll sizes, and you can always buy some of their adhesive to hang. Some of the designs are available as vinyl wall coverings and in a number of options regarding the width to whatever suits your project, but of course lead times will vary so please contact us if you need further information. It's good to know this is not the only collection due out this year, merely a launch to support and add to their impressive back catalogue of wallpapers, which over recent years, has found some competition from other brands. Further to the above we have also learnt that: Vinyl Conversion - As part of our Bespoke Service, Cole & Son offer a range of vinyl substrates suitable for commercial use. We have included examples of Landscape Plains on Type I vinyl in the back of the pattern book, and are able to reproduce these, and many of our other designs, on a variety of substrates that conform to commercial and hospitality standards. Contact TM Interiors Limited for further details regarding commercial vinyl wallcoverings from Cole and Son. cole-and-son-vinyl-wallpapers-contract Also: Curio launching 11th March 2016.
