Anthology Fabric

Anthology Fabric

Anthology Fabric

The latest collection, or should we now say brand, from the Walker Green Bank group is unveiled as the Anthology Fabric range has just been launched. Anthology wallpapers have been a big success for Harlequin and Walker GreenBank so what better way to cement that success by developing a range of "stylish, practical and durable fabrics" to accompany them and push the onus away from their Harlequin brand. anthology-fabrics-tm-interiors-limited So what is expected in this launch, well a "a composition of conversational pieces" across six books in their words. There is no doubt they will sit well with the three Harlequin Anthology wallpaper ranges as the fabrics have been inspired by organic structures and minerals like swirling marble, tree bark effects, peeling plaster and degraded concrete. Anthology-Fabrics-Textures-01 The brand is no doubt aimed towards the better end of the designer fabric market  and home interiors already inhibited by the likes of luxury brands Romo Black Edition, Zinc textiles, Zimmer and Rohde and Dedar fabrics amongst others.   Textures 01 "embodies the trend towards industrial utilitarianism which is an ever-evolving look for fashion-led interiors". Well to us it has that stylish almost urban feel using sparse spaces but with sophisticated fabrics, that embody, both matte and sheen, to create a vivid interesting look. Be sure to explore Dedar and Zimmer and Rohde for further inspiration. Harlequin-Anthology-Fabrics-Textures-01 The way they display their sheer fabrics in Translucents 01 almost seems like they have taken a leaf out of that french brand, Casmance fabrics book. Translucents 01 look we have caught before in the Romo Black Edition and Casamance ranges, where sheer fabrics capture the creativity of pioneering fabric technology, using three-dimensional structures and innovative weaving techniques. Also Veda is a velvet that warms the collection up suitable for both curtains and upholstery, and finally a satin plain Vivid explores adds a little more sophistication. harlequin-anthology-fabrics So with the exception of the velvets, all of the Anthology fabrics are wide-width, drapery weight and all the fabrics meet the stringent flammability requirements of the contract market both in the UK and internationally.
